Free Crochet Pattern: Soft Clusters Throw Blanket

|

I love curling up with a crochet throw blanket during every season of the year. They not only keep me warm, but they provide a sense of comfort when I am finally able to sit down and relax at the end of the day. My favorite blankets are ones that are warm and snuggly, but also look great thrown across the back of the couch or the arm of my favorite chair. The Soft Clusters Throw Blanket has the beautiful texture and rows of alternating stitches that make it a great accent piece in your home while still being a blanket that is great to wrap up with at the end of a long day.

Soft Clusters Throw Blanket

This design features a crochet cluster that gives the design it’s name along with rows of single and double crochet to help the rows of clusters really stand out. Even though this crochet throw blanket is designed using a single colorway, the alternating stitches create a striped look that give the blanket a visual appeal. I used Yarn Bee Tender Touch as the yarn for this design, which has an amazingly soft, light feel for a size 5 bulky weight yarn. Using Yarn Bee Tender Touch allowed the finished design to be warm without being heavy, which is a plus when you’re wanting a blanket that you can use year-round. The pattern for this crochet throw blanket uses simple stitches and row repeats, so it works up quickly!
