Hayrides in Autumn Throw Blanket

Fall is my favorite time of year. I love everything from the weather to the clothes to the color palette! This chunky crochet throw blanket pattern checks all of the boxes for a great fall throw blanket. From the chunky yarn to the texture of the stitches to the amazing colorway, the Hayrides in Autumn Throw Blanket is a must-make this fall season. Whether you’re an experienced crocheter looking for a relaxing, easy pattern or are new to the craft and looking for an easy blanket pattern to make, this pattern is the perfect choice for a fall throw blanket.

The Yarn

When I set out to find yarn for this project, I knew I wanted to use chunky, textured yarn. It didn’t take long for me to find Lion Brand Homespun, which is appropriately named. The yarn has a rustic, homemade feel that gives this chunky crochet throw blanket a unique texture and makes it perfect for a cool fall evening. Although all of the colorways are amazing, I chose the Wild Fire colorway because of the amazing red and orange hues that remind me of the color of fall leaves.
