Free Crochet Pattern: Cedar Lane Throw Blanket

|

Here is another throw blanket to add to the mix! This linen stitch throw blanket design started out as a personal project for a family member and quickly turned into a design that I wanted to share with the crochet community. The linen stitch (also known as the moss stitch) is one of my favorite stitches to work with. I’ve made several projects with it over the years, and I definitely see myself designing with it again soon. Even though the linen stitch is incredibly simple, it creates strikingly beautiful projects that are relaxing to create.

Cedar Lane Throw Blanket

The Cedar Lane Throw Blanket features a unique striping pattern to showcase the beauty and simplicity of the linen stitch, and the end result is a gorgeous blanket that is sure to look incredible in your home. You can use bright colors to match your home décor or the season, or use neutral colors to make this a year-round home accessory.

If you like having a project to work on in the evenings while you wind down for the day, this linen stitch throw blanket is a great project to add to your list. The striping pattern changes just often enough to keep you on your toes without creating too many ends to weave in, but the one-row repeat is easy enough that you’re not stressed while you’re working. It’s definitely a win-win!
