Acadia Trails Throw Blanket
The Acadia Trails stitch combo is one of my favorites. It includes the crossed double crochet stitch as well as stitching in the back loop.
One of the things I love about combining these two techniques is that it provides you with a change in each round so that you don’t get bored while you work. The second reason this combo ranks on my list of favorites is that the techniques are easy and yet still strikingly beautiful.
I’ve used this combo before in the Acadia Trails Baby Blanket and it was so much fun to use it for a larger, heavier throw blanket! The bulky weight yarn helps the project work up really quickly and gives this square crochet throw blanket a nice, cozy feel that is perfect for the colder months.
