Free Crochet Pattern: Parker Creek Placemat
The breakfast nook in our house is one of my favorite spaces in the whole world. It has large windows that let in lots of sunlight, and we often see birds and squirrels in the backyard when we sit down to eat a meal. Since this room is most definitely my favorite one in our house, it’s also the one that I’ve spent the most time decorating. The baker’s rack is full of my favorite cookbooks and stores my homemade jelly, the decor is just right, and the table is always set with handmade crochet placemats. Textured crochet placemats like the Parker Creek Placemat are my favorite because they are fun to make and they add an extra measure of grace and charm to the table all throughout the day.

Parker Creek Placemat
The Parker Creek Placemat is the last placemat in a four-placemat series. It combines my favorite elements of the Pecan Grove Placemat and the Mason Lake Placemat to create a unique design that looks amazing on any table. Crocheters at almost any skill level can easily make this beautiful, textured crochet placemat for themselves or as a housewarming gift for a friend.
All of the placemats in this series are made with cotton yarn, so they’re machine-washable. That makes them perfect for everyday use as well as for special events and holidays.
