Summer Days Chevron Baby Blanket

The Summer Days Chevron Baby Blanket is the very first baby blanket pattern that I published. This pattern seemed to fly off of the hook and will always be a pattern that is near and dear to my heart. Made with lightweight yarn, this blanket is perfect for warm summer days and cool summer nights.

This blanket uses a combination of standard stitches and includes a touch of crossed double crochet. That means that it’s a beautiful blanket that will look great in any nursery, but also that it’s accessible to crocheters of all skill levels. The color combinations are endless, so it can be customized to match any decor or theme.

The Yarn

I used Baby Bee Sweet Delight yarn when designing this blanket. It’s a size 3 lightweight yarn that’s soft and easy to work with. I chose Bashful and Flannel for the sample, but there are so many color combinations that would look amazing! I also used this yarn when designing the Acadia Trails Baby Blanket and the Twin Ridges Baby Blanket. Each time, I’ve been incredibly happy with the results.
