Free Crochet Pattern: Pinecrest Dishcloth

Even though I love making blankets, dishcloths are probably my second favorite type of crochet project. I love that dishcloths are projects that I can start and finish in one sitting, all while trying out new stitches and making something fun for our home!

Pinecrest Dishcloth

The Pinecrest Dishcloth was lots of fun to design because it uses one of my favorite textured stitches – the Cluster V-Stitch! This stitch, combined with the Shell stitch, gives the Pinecrest Dishcloth an incredible texture that is absolutely perfect for cleaning. It also looks great in you sink, and makes a great gift for a friend or family member. The Pinecrest Dishcloth is made from an easy crochet dishcloth pattern, so even if you’re new to crochet you’ll be able to make one in no time.

The Yarn

I used I Love This Cotton yarn in the Forest colorway to make the Pinecrest Dishcloth. This is my go-to cotton yarn because it’s soft enough to feel good while I’m working, but sturdy enough to hold up to everyday use in my kitchen. I used it to design all of the patterns in the Rustic Charm Dishcloth Set CAL, so I knew it would make a great yarn for this project, too.
